The cabin is located at the end of a 1.8 mile forest service road in Suches (highest elevation in GA), Georgia/Fannin County. The abundance of national forest provides privacy and seclusion, as well as numerous hiking trails just outside your door.

The cabin is just 30 feet from the water's edge with flat level yard and easy gradual access to the water. The upper Toccoa river is clear, clean and beautiful. The river is reknown as a premier fishing destination with native brown trout and is stocked with rainbow trout. This area of North GA has been designated the trout fishing capital of Georgia.

From its highland origins to the breach of the river beneath the powerhouse gates at Blue Ridge Dam, the Toccoa River forms the spine of any trout fisherman's trek in Fannin County, the "Trout Capital of Georgia."

Above Lake Blue Ridge, the upper Toccoa flows more than 20 miles from its origin. Along its way, the river flows through a patchwork of national forest land, where fishermen access the river on foot, by canoe/kayak, at roadside pullouts and recreation sites. (from Coastal Anglers Magazine)
