Solutions Expert

As a Solutions Expert you will meet clients in the showroom and followup visits to their home, estimate & closes the deal. You will be responsible for educating the clients on the possibilities, researching & qualifying the application, and prescribing the perfect solution for their needs. Your focus will be on selling custom installations of Fireplaces, Stoves, Fascia, etc.

The overarching goal for this role will be to “Close the Deal” on any large job that must be measured or specified . You’ll take a customer-centric approach to our prospects and customers, and create a “wow experience” so unique that they can’t help but talk about our company…..think Ritz Carlton.

Contribute to the team by achieving individual goals. On a daily basis, you'll work with customers, leadership, and the operations team to ensure that all customers are being serviced properly and up to our company’s standards. This role will involve being present in a showroom & ready to go perform site consultations at a moment’s notice. While you are not in store consulting, performing site evaluations, and doing what’s necessary to close deals in their pipeline, then you are proactively prospecting for new business opportunities & joint ventures.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Amazing Customer Support

Prompt & persistent follow ups
Handling customer complaints
Being an expert on our product lines & offerings
Instigating & researching all options to provide the “Perfect Solution”
Obtaining client testimonials & referrals
Prospecting, Consulting, Selling products & services

Calling on commercial construction companies and architects
In-home and In-Showroom Consultations & Product Demonstrations
Estimating projects & managing acceptable profit margins
Retrofit, New Fireplace and Fascia Sales
Outdoor Fireplaces
Prospecting new business opportunities & Joint Ventures
Tradeshows & association events
The Requirements

To be a good fit for the Solutions Expert role, you should have: sales experience, an outgoing personality, a strong desire to succeed, and a demonstrated ability to: Build relationships and provide outstanding customer service. Deliver a sales plan; follow-up on in-house leads; prospect for new business. Convert prospects and close deals while meeting and exceed sales goals. Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques. Construction industry experience is a plus. Skill and experience using software, such as MS Office Suite applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and/or CRM software. A valid driver's license.
