We’re a well-established local cabinet shop specializing in high-end, custom cabinetry —
looking for a motivated Workshop Assistant to join our Shop & Installation Crews. If you are interested in learning the woodworking trade and want to be part of a supportive, tight-knit crew that values quality work and a positive work environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist shop crew with material handling, organization and inventory management
- Keep the workshop and vehicles clean and organized
- Manage dust collection system and keep machinery and floors clean and maintained
- Prepare jobs for Finishing & Installation Crews
- Join on-site installations in both residential and commercial settings to support setup, break down and assist Installation Crew
- Collaborate with a talented, easygoing team to consistently deliver top-notch results
What We’re Looking For:
- Interest in learning the woodworking trade
- Organizational skills, work ethic and reliability
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials
- High level of attention to detail and pride in work
- A team player who can also work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism when interacting with crew,
vendors and clients
- Reliable transportation and a clean background check
