Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week

Seeking Driver Helper who will works alongside a Route Driver to collect residential and commercial waste and recyclable materials. This role involves physical labor, teamwork, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Assist Route Driver with waste and recycling collection routes
Load and empty residential and commercial containers into collection trucks
Operate lifting and hoisting equipment when needed
Assist drivers with backing maneuvers and route safety
Report safety concerns, service issues, and incidents promptly
Communicate customer requests to management and dispatch
Follow all WM safety procedures and OSHA regulations
Attend required safety meetings and training sessions
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 70 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
Previous labor or outdoor work experience is helpful but not required
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in obtaining a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Experience in waste collection, construction, landscaping, or general labor
Work Environment

Exposure to weather, noise, dirt, and odors
Riding in GPS/video-monitored vehicles
Frequent walking, lifting, bending, and twisting
PPE Requirements
Steel-toe work boots required
Safety vest and other site-required PPE must be worn at all times
