Job Responsibilities
Assist the Route Driver with residential waste and recycling collection.
Load and empty trash and recycling containers into the collection truck.
Help safely guide the driver during backing maneuvers.
Operate lifting equipment when needed.
Report safety concerns, accidents, or service issues.
Communicate customer requests to the Route Manager or Dispatch.
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
Steel toe boots
At least 18 years old.
1+ year of work experience preferred.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) interest or ability to obtain one is a plus.
Work Environment
Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting.
Ride in GPS/video-monitored collection vehicles.
Exposure to dirt, noise, and odors as part of daily operations.
