Hello; My name is Emily. I am a retired investor looking for care-giving work. I have many years experience supporting family and caring for my aged dad for 3 years in his home until his natural passing in 2016. Nothing can prepare for the loss of a loved one. However, it is a blessing to know you have given them the best possible care, compassion and love in the last days of their lives. I have experience in care-giving outside of my own family as well. I recently worked in the home of an elderly woman and her son. My job entailed to take care of Carol's medical, physical and emotional needs. The job involved meal preparations, laundering and tidying the home. I take great pride and serious concern in every job I do, therefore over a course of a year in my spare time I transformed the home into a clean, odor and bug-free environment . I also did the maintenance and repair of a rather neglected environment of which needed to conform to a standard of living that Carol deserved and desired, but was unable to keep anymore. Of course I did none of the above without the consent of the mother and son of those individual jobs, including the yard, prior to pursuing them. I also set up and took down all holiday decorations to give the warmth every home needs. // Depending on what your needs are and what you are wanting from your care-giver, the opportunity exists here for not only a compassionate and caring individual, but also a versatile, dependable and hard-working one too. I have many years experience taking daily vital records, pharmacological, exercise and other types of therapy and treatments. I have responded to collapse, difficulty breathing and emergency response for transporting patients to name a few and although I don't hold a degree in nursing, I have taken CPR training and am fairly confident in most situations. Please feel free to call anytime. Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from you!
