For sale is an exceptionally rare and beautiful 1925 C.G. Conn 22B New York Symphony trumpet — the absolute top-of-the-line professional model Conn offered in the mid-1920s. This is the legendary “New York Symphony Special” that was played by many of the leading orchestral and commercial players of the era.

Full hand-engraved floral & vine pattern in gold and silver that extends from the bell flare up the entire bell throat — one of the most elaborate factory engraving patterns Conn ever produced
NO “B” stamped on the valve casing — correct for the 22B New York Symphony (2B models are always stamped “B”)
Large bore approximately .462″ (slightly larger than the standard 2B)
