This bill has been in the State House of Representatives in 2018 not given a hearing and 2019 it had a hearing without a vote to allow it to pass to the Senate. I now have many more Legislators supporting it.
If you have or had a loved one in a nursing or personal care home, or assisted living. This bill will allow a webcam to be installed in their room so the family will be able to view they're loved one 24/7.
We need support from Georgia citizens to contact they're State House Representative and Senator tell them you want them to support HB 135 bill in the next session in 2020.
If you or anyone you know has experienced a loved one that was abused, neglected or died in a long term care facility that was the fault of staff. If you would have benefited having a camera in their room to watch and stop abuse, neglect or the death of a loved one.
