Hello! I’m looking for anyone who can possibly help me and my family get into housing, maybe a private landlord or something? I’m new to all this so I’m not sure where to begin. The issue isn’t that we can’t pay, it’s that we lost our housing a few years ago due to family drama and I swear our biggest mistake was going to an extended stay. We have basically been stuck in them since. We currently pay 550 a week here, and our floors are falling in, and honestly the types of people they have in and out it never feels fully comfortable. (Ours is the large basically one bedroom apartment type suite- but we obviously need more space for 5 people) we have us and our 3 kids (very quiet and easy going older kids, they’re homeschooled and very well behaved and non destructive.) and I have a task trained service animal as I am disabled (2 year old golden retriever, spayed and UTD on ALL vet care and preventions and she is fully trained and non destructive as well, I can provide doctors letter from my mychart proving my need for her) we don’t party, or drink, or smoke (anything) etc. Our issue is we can’t pay all the fees and deposits to get in somewhere while paying rent here and our other bills as well. The kids and I stay home and do school and our hobbies most of the time and my husband just works and comes home. We are NOT picky on home type, house, trailer, apartment, anything. Heck we’d rent an RV or Camper at this point to be away from these extended stays. Not picky on area much either, as long as it’s safe for my kids that’s all I really care about. If anyone has a direction to point us in, or would be willing to work with us I would be externally thankful!!
